Portraits of Stones is a new photo based project that is a reflection on displacement, immigration, and diaspora. Pebbles of a similar size from a single beach are collected, documented, and then divided into three groups. One group is used in art making, the second is returned to the beach, and the third travels to the next beach where they are placed and the process is repeated.
